Who Are we?

Our Mission

Our Mission is to provide high quality, unique, visual and utilitarian art that you will be proud to show your friends and family while creating a lasting relationship with our customers

Corinne and Scott Strangfeld

are high school sweethearts that currently reside in Baraboo, which is nestled in the driftless area of the great state of Wisconsin, with two or their five children and their three dogs. Their remaining three children reside in Baraboo, Green Bay, and Buena Vista Virginia.

By day, Corinne is a domestic engineer and manages our household. When she is not engulfed with her role as supermom she creates one of a kind art pieces out of her small studio in our home drawing much of her inspiration from the amazing landscape in which we live in as well as her life long love of fantasy.

Scott, by day, is an engineering manager at a large thermoforming plastics company in neighboring Portage where he leads a team of 10 engineering professional in their efforts to  further both contract manufacturing projects and proprietary new product development projects.

Strangfeld Studios

was born in early Spring of 2022, from the dream to be able to lucratively create full-time, Strangfeld Studios is a combination of unparalleled works produced by Corinne and Scott Strangfeld along with the occasional piece created by their two youngest talented children.

When visiting Strangfeld Studios you can expect to find an ever changing inventory of unique mixed media art consisting of hand sculpted pieces incorporating upcycled glass bottles and other glassware as well as one of a kind sculpted wreaths that will take you on a journey into the wilderness or possibly the nearest fairy garden. You will embark on this journey through natural and/or hand sculpted elements of nature and fairy doors that will lead you anywhere your imagination may take you.

You will also find one off hand turned writing instrument created for the individual with a discerning eye for beauty and functionality. These pieces are created by using hand poured acrylic material, hand selected highly figured domestic and exotic woods or a combination of both coupled with high quality metal components. Along with the writing instruments you will find items such as cartridge or double edge safety razors, bottle stoppers, bottle openers, and kitchen gadgets.

Alex Strangfeld

is currently a Junior at Baraboo high school where they take a lot of interest in art and love spending time in the library getting lost in one of many books of current interest. In their free time Alex enjoys making canvas come alive through painting as well as creating alongside Mom in her little studio in our home. We try to showcase Alex’s painting as often as possible at our non-juried shows. Their works are met with great reviews and many people are astounded that they were created by a 16 year old artist. On a rare occasion you might find Alex in the shop with Dad working a on pen.

Cainan Strangfeld

is currently a Senior at Baraboo High School. Cainan’s interest lie primarily in shop and construction classes where he is currently in the building trades program and working on building a house and he is also working a youth apprenticeship at a local auto dealer as a lube technician. In his free time when he is not hunting, fishing, or hanging out with buddies Cainan likes to hang out is the shop with Dad making chips on the lathe whether it be pens, game calls, or bowls. Cainan has been turning pens for several years and has competed in several youth pen competitions winning his class that last two years in a row. You can see some of his works at our shows as well.
